PRESENT AND PAST AROUND THE WORLD
The Cool Foundation aims to support the development of children in disadvantaged circumstances around the world by providing financial backing for long-term or recurring projects. We are especially drawn to initiatives that offer education and promote children's health in a positive, playful environment where sport and games play a key role. Below you'll find an overview of current and past projects the Foundation has supported.
Future Hope
Future Hope biedt kwetsbare straat- en sloppenwijk kinderen in Kolkata, India; een veilig thuis, onderwijs, gezondheidszorg en begeleiding om de armoede cyclus te doorbreken en een zelfstandig leven op te bouwen.
Clubhuis De Mussen
Since 1926, Clubhouse De Mussen Foundation has been offering activities and educational support, including homework assistance, to children in the Schilderswijk area of The Hague – especially to those who receive less support at home because their parents are not yet proficient in the language.
Phulki Care & Education
Phulki is a non-profit organisation from Bangladesh that has been supporting women and children since 1991 by providing affordable childcare, offering training on health and women's rights, and strengthening the socio-economic position of disadvantaged communities, particularly in urban areas and the garment industry.
Cruijff Foundation
The Cruyff Foundation supports and develops sports and play projects worldwide for children, especially those with disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds, to help them grow through sports.
Tekenen voor Kinderen
Stichting Tekenen voor Kinderen (Drawing for Kids) offers children in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, medical child centres and asylum seekers’ centres a moment of relaxation and a sense of control by creating drawings at their request, stimulating their creativity and supporting their wellbeing.
Net4kids
Child labor is a very big problem in the Tirupur region, South India. A major growth in the clothing industry over the past 20 years has been accompanied by massive recruitment of cheap migrant workers and child workers. Net4kids is fighting hard against this problem, by connecting businesses and inviting them to invest 1% of their profit, time, and expertise with the aim of giving children a chance at a better future. NET4KIDS ensure children are safe, educated, and able to attend school instead of working in harmful conditions.
Free a Girl
Free a Girl is an international organisation dedicated to rescuing underage girls from situations of sexual exploitation, providing aftercare and legal support, and combating impunity by prosecuting perpetrators and raising awareness through programmes such as School for Justice.
Friendship Sports Centre
The Friendship Sports Centre is the only sports center in Europe fully equipped for children and young people with disabilities.
IMC Weekendschool
Stichting IMC Weekendschool offers supplementary Sunday education to young people from underprivileged neighbourhoods, helping them discover their talents and grow.
Villa Pinedo
Villa Pinedo is a foundation that supports children and young people with divorced parents by connecting them with peer mentors (Buddies) who have similar experiences, allowing them to share their stories, find support, and feel understood.
Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur
Stichting Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Amsterdam covers the membership fees, tuition, and necessary equipment for sports, cultural activities, and swimming lessons for children and young people aged 4 to 18 from low-income families in Amsterdam. This way they can take part in activities such as football, dance, music lessons, or swimming for a diploma.

Stichting Onderwijsbegeleiding Twente supports schools and students in the Twente region with expert guidance and advice in the areas of education, development, and care.
Bangalore Foundation
Bangalore Foundation supports projects of the Franciscan convent in Bangalore, India, aimed at promoting the health and education of children and their mothers.
Girl Determined Myanmar
Girl Determined empowers adolescent girls in Myanmar through after-school programs that build leadership, foster solidarity, and challenge harmful social norms.

The Antoni van Leeuwenhoek is a specialised Dutch hospital and research institute focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer. NIVEC is a part of the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek that works on innovative developments in cancer treatment and research.

UNICEF is a United Nations organisation that works worldwide to protect children's rights and improve their living conditions, especially for the most vulnerable, through healthcare, education, emergency aid, and advocacy in more than 190 countries and territories. In Bangladesh the organisation is tackling child labor in the cotton and textile production.
